As of March 21, 2024, we have restricted the available payment methods for users living outside of Japan, specifically for those who have set their viewing restrictions to display explicit content (R-18) or Ero-guro content (R-18G) when signing up for pixiv Premium (see the announcement dated March 21st, 2024).
We are pleased to announce that after completing the necessary updates, we are now relaxing these restrictions.
These payment methods have been reinstated:
・Credit card payments
Starting today,anyone living outside Japan can choose to pay by credit card when registering for pixiv Premium, regardless of your viewing restrictions or where you live.
Please note that due to system requirements, some users may have to re-register their credit card information. Thank you for your understanding.
From today, the following payment methods are available to those living outside Japan:
・Credit card payments
・Google Play and App Store payments within the pixiv app
* Carrier payments and ticket payments will remain available to those with their pixiv language set to Japanese.
PayPal payments continue to be unavailable. To learn more, please refer to the announcement dated March 21st, 2024.
